February “vacation”
Since I’ve become the parent of a school-aged child I’ve wondered what demented person may have thought that keeping a child home during what feels like the longest week of the entire year in New England was actually a good idea. Someday we will travel to warmer climes during this period, hopefully before she graduates high school, and dear God don’t let it be within 100 miles of Disney World.
